CAGEAD Youth Dialogue on TB Prevention
Tue 21st Oct 2025
to Tue 16th Sep 2025
CAGEAD HQ, Bamenda
Tuberculosis (TB) remains a serious public health issue, and young people are often at high risk. This CAGEAD Youth Dialogue is a unique event designed as a safe and open space for young people to discuss the challenges they face regarding TB prevention and care. This is not a formal lecture; it is a conversation where your questions and experiences are the most important part of the agenda. We will bring in health experts, community leaders, and TB survivors to share their knowledge and answer your questions in an honest and supportive environment.
The main goal of this dialogue is to gather firsthand information from young people about what is and isn't working on the ground. The feedback and insights shared during this event will be used to create a formal report. This report will be presented by the CAGEAD Youth Advisory Group to the Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM), ensuring that your specific concerns and recommendations are heard by the decision-makers who control health funding in Cameroon. This event is a direct example of how our platform facilitates a feedback loop between youth and key stakeholders.
We encourage all young people, especially those who have been affected by TB, to attend and share their stories. The event will be held in Bamenda, and we are committed to creating an inclusive space where everyone feels comfortable sharing their thoughts. By participating, you are not only educating yourself but also contributing to real, tangible change in health policy. Your voice is a powerful instrument for improving TB prevention and care in Cameroon.
